SchoolLinks

We are excited to introduce SchooLinks, our new college and career readiness platform for students!  SchooLinks is designed to help students stay organized and on track throughout the college application process. This year, seniors will use SchooLinks to request transcripts and letters of recommendation, as well as track application requirements and deadlines. Please note that SchooLinks is not an application portal—students will still submit applications through platforms such as Common App or directly through colleges.

School counselors will begin meeting individually with all seniors starting the week of September 8 to support them through this process.

For more information and step-by-step guidance, please review the resources below:
 • SchooLinks Guide: https://bit.ly/SchooLinksGuide
 • SchooLinks Step-by-Step Presentation: https://bit.ly/SchooLinksPresentation
We look forward to supporting your student throughout this exciting process. Please reach out to your school counselor with any questions!

ASVAB Testing

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is the military entrance exam. Seniors and juniors considering enlisting in any branch of the military should plan on testing at Godwin High School. Sophomores are also invited to take the test as a practice test.  In addition to serving as the military entrance exam, it is also measures developed abilities and predicts future academic and occupational success. Taking the ASVAB can assist with exploring potential careers, even if one does not plan on entering the military. The date for our fall testing is Thursday, October 22nd). The test will begin at 9:15 and should conclude around 11:30 but may take up to three hours. Students should come to the library with a charged laptop after checking in to first period.  Students are responsible for any missed work. Students will miss 1st period and 3rd block since it is a Day 1. Please submit this google form below to sign up to test.
