Trunk or Treat, Short Pump Elementary School - Friday, October 23, 4 - 8 PM

• Short Pump Elementary School PTA is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 23rd, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm (Set-up: 4-6p, Event 6-7p, Clean up 7-8p). If you are interested in helping out with this event, please email Ms. Michelle Nguyen at spescommunityevents@gmail.com.

Third Church, Immigrant and Refugee Tutoring Program

• Third Church is seeking eager high school students who are looking for meaningful ways to serve their communities and gain leadership experience. All students are welcome, but students with the ability to speak Arabic or Spanish are especially sought after. Volunteers will work with elementary-aged immigrant and refugee students, often helping them with their homework on topics like math, science, and reading, while also working with them to practice their English.
